During Covid, I had an idea that I was super excited about. I put in some time and effort, got in touch with a couple people whom I thought would like to be a part of it, and I launched my idea into existence. Unfortunately, life has ways of throwing wrenches into even the best laid plans. I highly value the mental and emotional well being of those around me, as too many times in my life, I’ve had to fight my own demons and with no support system around me.
So I shelved the idea until I could make it work. I didn’t abandon it all together because I know It can work. Even today, after attempting to bring it to life, and having it fall short quickly afterwards, I am still excited about it.
The good news? I think I’m ready to bring it back, and I think I have the right people around me to help me with it. So today I am ready to announce that shortly following the conclusion of Season 3 of Duel of the Greats, PSA Ink. Will be relaunching The Reel Superhero Project.
For those who don’t remember the short-lived podcast from the first time, The Real Superhero Project is a podcast designed to review and rank every superhero movie released. I understand this is a tall order, and if I’m being 100% transparent, I do not believe it will be achievable. There’s a lot of variables that will hinder the process. This ranges anywhere from qualifying movies that fall into the category, accessibility of watching some of the movies, and absolute volume of the genre as it has exploded in the last 20 years.
Having said all of that, I have been slowly and meticulously chiseling away at how I want to attempt to succeed at this. While some of the fine print and details still need cleaned up, I am close enough to announce it’s return! Stay tuned over the several weeks as we unveil more!
