It’s “Controversy” week! Two movies that stoked the fires of controversy from these two directors. Martin Scorsese’s “The Last Temptation of Christ” didn’t go over as he planned and was disowned by the Catholic Church. Spike Lee’s “Bamboozled” was a daring look at what it would be like to put on a minstrel show on cable TV.
Both movies were ambitious looks at very complicated topics. Both were met with you guessed it…controversy. Which one courted it the best? Which one was most controversial? Which was the better movie? Nate, Steve, and Jeff discuss and declare a winner….
