It’s Frankenstein Week! Neither director has helmed a movie version of that famous novel but they have both tackled the premise at the core of Mary Shelley’s masterpiece: playing god.

This week Jeff, Nate, and Steve take a look at a tandem of films for both directors that are duologies dealing with the idea of “playing god.” For Ridley Scott it’s Prometheus (2012) and it’s sequel Alien: Covenant (2017). For Steven Spielberg it’s Jurassic Park (1993) and The Lost World (1997).

Which movie tackled this subject matter with more depth? How do their visions of playing god differ? These questions and more are answered by the crew in this weeks episode.
