The Reel Superhero Project is back and we have changed the format! To help you out, here’s a breakdown of how movies will be reviewed going forward!
Review episodes will post bi-weekly on a regular schedule and depending on time availability of potential guest, and new movie releases, may post in between normal schedule.
Each guest reviewer will be tasked with watching and writing a 300 word review. Think of it as a tweet style review of a movie. On each episode, Myself and any potential guest reviewer will talk about our history with said movie/characters, and give our review. Following the review, We will each add our ranking to the every growing movie review list with the hopes of eventually ranking every theatrically released superhero movie. There will be two official ranking lists. The official show one, which will be made by myself, and an official Guest one, that will be cultivated by the guest reviewers.
Not all movies will have guests. I want to try and get as many reviews done as I can. I already have about 12 movie guests lined up with a hopeful acquisition of more to come, but I also understand how life works and some things or guests may fall through. On those episodes, in lieu of a guest ranking, a poll will be posted to social media to see where a movie should be added on the official guest list, giving the community the ability to have a say in the rankings. I may even work community reviews in regularly if it goes well.
On episodes with guests, following each review and ranking, each guest will be allowed to pick a movie of their choice that they feel should be moved up or down on the ranking list. I will use a random number generator to pick between 1,3, or 5 spaces for that guest to move said movie. Once a movie has been moved though, it is locked for two (2) review episodes.
To end each episode, I’ll enter eligible movies into a randomizer to pick the next episode to be reviewed! For more information on this process, as well as eligible movies, CLICK HERE

If possible, all episodes will try to be kept to 30 minutes, but depending on the discussions, could run longer.
