With over a years’ worth of episodes under our belt, Sam and I have learned a lot over the last year plus of podcasting together. At the core of the podcast is just two friends taking the time to sit down and talk about the things they love, and we enjoy doing it.

What comes next? Sam and I have talked about how much fun it would be to have a community of people to interact with and talk about the same topics and share our enthusiasm for new game releases and more. The way to do this is to work harder at bringing in more listeners. There are a number of ways to do this, including some of the things discussed earlier this week, via streaming and positing let’s plays.

Here’s a look at some of the upcoming changes we are making to help bring in more listeners as well as make for a more pleasant listening experience.

New Logo – We have a new logo! One of the issue’s i feel has hindered our audience growth has been identifying what our podcast is if you’ve never listened. Our standard text logo, while fit the “Untitled” dynamic of the name, it didn’t really jump out as what we are about. The new logo now has been reworked to incorporate some basic video game icons. These icons can also be swapped out to other topics for identification purposes!

Regular Schedule – Starting this June, the Untitled BS Podcast will post weekly, every Tuesday at 5 am. Getting episodes out regularly has been probably one of the biggest issues we have faced on the podcast. We both have jobs and family to attend to and sometimes it pushes us out of whack. If we feel a week must be missed, we will do a better job of communicating that via social media.

Guests – On top of trying my hardest to get prolific guests form within the entertainment/gaming industry/community, we will begin to have at least 1 guest every month. If you have any suggestions for people you’d like to hear us talk to, let us know at untitledbs@psaink.com . In addition to this, If Sam or myself are unable to record (mostly Sam here lol) We will get a step in guest host to make sure we still get a fluid show out.

Balancing Time – Sometimes an episode of the show can be almost two hours long! We are going to switch up and try and balance our content between news and topics. The goal being we still give you some of the bigger news stories, but not letting it overtake the show. This will allow us to try and incorporate more topic-based discussion on a regular basis. Future episodes will strive to be within 10 to 15 minutes of the 1 hour mark.

More than games – The show is and will almost always be a gaming centric podcast. Having said that, some of the more fun episodes we’ve had involved discussions about comic book movies, Star Wars, and geek culture as a whole. We want to bring back that mix to the podcast, and with it, open ourselves up to a broader topic set, as well as involving more outside guests to the show!

Along with these changes, new additions to the show notes with a variety of links for reaching out to us, and the inclusion of time stamps, will go a long way into letting people hear the stuff they want to when they load the show up every week.

As always, remember, if you have suggestions or would like to be involved with the show, reach out to us at UntitledBS@psaink.com

Here’s to another 52 episodes of fun discussion!Â
